Remote IP Handset
Handset Types
Any of the below IP Handsets can work remotely, ie from Home. They require power when they are not connected to the POE switch in the office, see below instructions for each handset type and what is required to get them working from home.

9000 Series IP and Digital Handset
8000 Series IP Handset
Yealink Hosted Handset
Power supplies
There are a few different types of power supplies and power injectors, A standard power adapter just needs to plug into the wall power point and the back of the phone handset. A POE Injector like the TP Link below needs to plug into the wall and then provides power to the phone via the ethernet cable, in this case the POE port connects to the phone and the LAN port connects to one of the LAN ports on the modem.
Yealink Hosted Handsets
The Yealink handsets just require internet, so will work automatically from home as long as it is plugged into the modem/router LAN port and connected to power or a POE injector.
